Windows mobile OS is currently moving away from the race with the introduction of Android and other mobile OS. To with stand the competition it surely needs an upgraded version which is expected to be Windows Mobile 7. But when will it be released?

The software was first expected by November 2009, then delayed to April 2010 now the recent interview with Phil Moore, Microsoft UK head of mobility indicates that it will be released only by the end of 2010.

The company has already created hype with the new version of Windows mobile and has increased the expectation of their customers. So delaying further the release will become an advantage to other mobile OS platforms.

Canadian wireless carrier Telus is all set to release Samsung A885 to their customers. It seems Samsung has released this mobile, who look for an economical mobile, packed with necessary feature. Samsung A885 will be satisfying for the people who look for a decent phone.

The mobile provides you with 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen with 240 x 400 resolution. The mobile will be powered with Samsung OS and it has a 2 mega pixel camera to take descent flicks with auto focus and digital zoom. Apart from that you record videos, hear music with MP3 player; use IM to keep your friends close, AGPS, micro SD card expandable up to 16GB etc.

Motorola has added another smartphone named as Moto MT710 to its deck. Sony Ericsson Aino and Satio which were called back by the carriers of UK such as Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse few days back due to the reports of bugs from the customers have got a firmware update now. Previously both the phones had some software issues and the company has said that they have been fixed now.

According to the company the new firmware update will give them a better battery backup and improvement in speed. Additionally the Satio users will not experience the freezing problems. Phone 4U has also resumed the sales of Satio. Aino users will experience an improved GPS, WLAN and Bluetooth with the new firmware.

However it is still a question whether the company’s promise will convince the users. We should wait and watch for the users review.
